FAT UR Breed Machine is a live music performance involving hundreds of MIDI files from extreme metal guitar solos. The notes are transformed and played by a sequence of sample-based sound libraries used in cinematic and videogame special FX (simulated hits and explosions, reproductions of natural sounds, synthetic flamenco guitars). The vocal section is a duet between a Vocaloid avatar and real vocals filtered through several effects. Its installation is a prosthetic made of layers of technology, elements from subcultures (posters, tattoos) and computer-generated visuals inspired by special FX tutorials.
